My therapeutic style

can be described as active, interactive, supportive, accessible, appropriately humorous, and sometimes challenging. I encourage my clients to participate in their therapy by setting clearly defined goals for our treatment. Together, we will navigate through your distress and towards relief, recovery, growth, and insight.

In our sessions,

I will likely suggest interventions that may assist in reducing your distress or identify patterns in your life that may no longer be serving you. If you are looking for a therapist who is largely silent and passive, we may not be the best fit. I will be active in your treatment, and my hope is that you will be active in your recovery, as well.

I earned

my doctorate in clinical psychology from Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, CA. My dissertation research focused on ethnic-racial and subcultural identity, which continues to be an area of expertise and interest. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley, Counseling and Psychological Services, which led to a staff position. Afterwards, I served as a psychologist at Stanford University’s Counseling and Psychological Services for several years before leaving to pursue a private therapy practice in 2015.

“I have seen firsthand Dr. Gadomski’s ability to effectively treat a wide range of clients. She is warm, genuine, engaging, funny, smart, insightful, and appropriately challenging. Dr.Gadomski is an incredibly skilled psychologist and I can honestly say she is worthy of what I believe to be the the two highest compliments one can pay to a psychotherapist: her clients feel incredibly attached to her and other therapists refer to her frequently (myself included).”
